A documentary by Tessa Klein, Iris Hendriks and Roos van Voskuijlen (Hogeschool van Amsterdam, Amsterdam, The Netherlands)
The biggest smiles sometimes hide the saddest stories. Tessa (23) is an energetic young woman who is always positive about life. However there is something about her: every day she has to deal with chronic pain in the left hand side of her body. It’s hard for Tessa to openly talk about the pain because she’s afraid that people won’t understand. Will the pain ever go away? That’s a tough question to answer. Still, Tessa will never give up just like that.
